By downloading, installing, or using BabaYo (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be 17 years or older to use BabaYo. By using the App you confirm you meet this requirement. The age requirement exists because the Dasha calibration feature requires meaningful lived experience — typically three or more lived Mahadasha periods.
BabaYo is a personal journaling and pattern-recognition tool that uses Vedic astrology (Jyotisha) as its framing system. It records your observations and surfaces statistical patterns in your own data over time.
BabaYo does not make predictions about your future. Patterns described in the App are observational frames associated with classical Jyotisha configurations and the calibration data you contribute — not deterministic forecasts.
BabaYo does not provide medical, financial, legal, relationship, or any other professional advice. Patterns surfaced in the App are for personal reflection only. Outcomes in your life are influenced by many factors outside the scope of any astrological model.
Do not use BabaYo as a substitute for consultation with qualified professionals (medical, financial, legal, mental health, or otherwise).
Birth chart calculations depend on the accuracy of the date, time, and place of birth you provide. BabaYo cannot verify this information and is not responsible for outcomes that arise from incorrect or imprecise input. Birth time is particularly important — the ascendant shifts every four minutes.
BabaYo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
Your personal data — birth profile, calibration entries, journal content — is stored on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and where it lives.
You retain ownership of your data. You may delete all of it at any time via Settings → Reset all data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BabaYo (operated by Yogesh Thanvi as an individual) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App, including but not limited to decisions you make based on patterns surfaced by the App.
We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when the current version took effect. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, subject to your consumer-protection rights under applicable local law (which may grant you the right to bring claims in your own jurisdiction).
If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, India, or another jurisdiction that grants additional consumer rights, those rights apply.
BabaYo is developed and operated by Yogesh Thanvi as an individual, based in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States. There is no incorporated entity behind the App at this time.
